According to the pattern you are simply supposed to make 2 left front sides and flip one over to be the right front side. The stitch pattern looks nearly the same on the back as it does on the front, so I think they just assumed it would be close enough. When I made my jacket I did the bottom, rectangular section of the right side until it was long enough and then flipped it over to do the armhole and neck shaping... that way it was only the upper part of the right side that was technically backwards.

I hope this helps! Good luck on your project!Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07017428282172876709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-19789891156220050342015-02-12T15:49:22.400-05:002015-02-12T15:49:22.400-05:00hi there…i must say u did a great job it looks won...hi there…i must say u did a great job it looks wonderful
im also working on same project and i need some help….i have completed back and left front but stuck at right front…but the pattern doesnt guide at right front....how did u do that can u guide me a bit?
can u guide a bit, would be a huge favor :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-8955479639304935192012-12-12T22:05:29.669-05:002012-12-12T22:05:29.669-05:00This is what I did NOT want to happen, assuming th...This is what I did NOT want to happen, assuming the link works.

http://yarnchic40.wordpress.com/2012/01/22/crochet-the-penny-arcade-jacket/ Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-34402247109397350722012-12-12T22:00:43.232-05:002012-12-12T22:00:43.232-05:00Thank you so much for your quick response; I just ...Thank you so much for your quick response; I just thought to check for it now. I've decided to have my mother make it instead and I believe she is using a J, so glad you mentioned that as possibly what you used. Yours looks so nice on you but I can see where the sleeves being a little too long would be awkward as they are so wide they can't really be rolled up easily. Again, thank you so much for your reply!!!

JoanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-53658848373608744282012-12-05T12:16:52.815-05:002012-12-05T12:16:52.815-05:00I believe I used a I or a J hook hook for this jac...I believe I used a I or a J hook hook for this jacket. My gauge was only slightly larger than the gauge given in the pattern with those hooks. This was my first crocheted garment so I was erring on the side of "too big"... but after finishing it I realized that the pattern has some stretch and give to it anyway which makes it even larger. I'm okay with it being a little big, but I do wish that I had made the sleeves shorter... they stretched out to be about 6-8 inches too long! I hope this is helpful... good luck on your project!Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07017428282172876709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-30050777573594618302012-12-04T17:25:17.911-05:002012-12-04T17:25:17.911-05:00Hi, I came across this page by googling the jacket...Hi, I came across this page by googling the jacket pattern. Yours looks so nice. I am trying to make this for my daughter for Xmas but it is no where near the gauge the designer has listed. Someone else online has a pic and it is HUGE, she was wishing she'd used a much smaller hook. Did you use an N/M or did you use a much smaller hook?

Thank you, JoanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-91948190803143958392012-06-14T16:20:08.075-04:002012-06-14T16:20:08.075-04:00- there is something about that first cold day whe...- there is something about that first cold day when we can wear our FAVORITE toasty warm thing -Cheryl Mooneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13172185513888224548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060173300366109252.post-91388726179861728652012-06-13T16:49:52.436-04:002012-06-13T16:49:52.436-04:00Murphy's Law of Knitting!
